Dear Jean,

I began the process of seeking re-election to the city council in January: Reviewing our work over the last three years, developing priorities for the next four years, organizing a campaign committee, walking door-to-door and holding house parties to listen to neighbors in every part of our district.

Just weeks ago when filing closed, we learned that I will be unopposed in the June 6th Election. However, I am committed to continue organizing house meetings in every neighborhood and participating in the candidate process to answer your questions and hear your concerns. I invite you to participate in these direct, informal discussions with neighbors at the locations listed below.

Thank you for the honor of serving our city.

388 9th Street, 2nd Level

Jean Because of Oakland's late filing date, we have been campaigning and organizing for months. While we can now scale back, we do have campaign expenses to pay.

Please join us in an early celebration and retirement of our debt at this popular restaurant in Oakland Chinatown's Pacific Renaissance Plaza.
