Accusations -- David Stein sent a hit
piece that makes 4 accusations about my work in the schools which
are all factually just wrong. Amazingly, he didn't check the
minutes he referenced, or just didn't care. I
have a long track record and I've made thousands of decisions
in a tough job.
Soft
Money -- I
am also sending you the facts about OakPAC and its
record-breaking soft money expenditures on behalf of the Stein campaign.

is Behind the Pro-Choice Voter Alliance?

also want you to know who is behind the Pro-Choice Voter Alliance,
the slate mailer organization responsible for the distasteful "slate
mail" that
attacks both my record and the progress we have made in our
schools. Please notice that the only two recent payments
for the Oakland election are from OakPAC and Sente PAC ($5,000 each). Both
of these PACs are contributors to Stein's campaign and heavily
funded by developers and big business. While these
contributions are listed as donations to measures BB (BART), CC
(Strong Mayor), and DD (Creeks), only one page is the so-called
slate, the other 3 pages are dedicated to attacks on me.
